If a Pokemon tries to evolve after a battle and you press B can it evolve later if you battle again?

It can if it grows a level. During the evolution process (only due to experience or friendship) you can press B to stop it. The only way to let your Pokemon evolve after that is to let it grow another level and don't press B. It is not possible for a Pokemon to evolve from experience after it reaches level 100.

Yep! All you need to do is level it up 1 more level like the last answer said. Even if you know this (or not) you can cancel the evolution by pressing the B button it will say: (pokemon name) has stopped evolving! I'll give an example: Lets say you want a Raichu... but still want to keep your pikachu. And yet, you still evolve it then your like, NOOO I just want pikachu now!!!! just press B before the evolution is over and you still have your precious pikachu! HOPE THIS HELPED!
