There like the same because Kyogre's moves are super effective against Groudon. But in one Pokemon episode, Kyogre lost to a battle against Groudon. But that might just be Groundon's luck. Groudon can also learn fissure- fainting a Pokemon in one hit- and solarbeam- super effective against water types.
If you have chosen Bulbasaur as your starter then Gary chose charmander. Catch a water Pokemon to beat it.
If you mean why is he not picking charmander, It's probably because you're picking Squirtle, and your rival always chooses whichever Pokemon is strong against yours, hence, Bulbasaur. (Grass is super effective against water)
I killed it with childish and turtwig on dungeons of darkness
Pokemon Ruby has you battle off against Team Magma and Groudon. In Sapphire, you battle off against Team Aqua and Kyogre. There's not really much a difference between the two. Also, the Lati's (Latias and Latios) also depend on the game. For Ruby, it's Latios. For Sapphire, it's Latias.
Groudon is a Ground type, meaning that it is weak to...WaterGrassIce
Well,if I were you,I'd pick Charmander.True,Brock's Pokemon are super-effective against it, but luckily,Charmander will learn Metal Claw,which is super-effective against Rock-types!
if you have Groudon and it has fissure use him..
Raise your charmander to lvl. 13 and it will learn metal claw. Use Metal Claw to defeat Brock since it is super-effective against rock-type Pokemon.
Chikorita of course because, cindaquil is mostly super effective against todidile and even though cindaquil is super effective against chikorita, chikorita can turn very strong when you train like HELL. OK THANKS FOR READING HOPE IT HELPED...

Theoretically yes, since Groudon weighs the most out of any Pokemon in all of the currently games, and since the move Grass Knot's damage is affected by how much the pokemon weighs, then yes.
If you have chosen Bulbasaur as your starter then Gary chose charmander. Catch a water Pokemon to beat it.
The type and Pokemon strong to Vigoroth and Slakoth. Type: Fire, Electric, Ground. Pokemon: Infernape, Raichu, Groudon/Hippowdon. Hope this helped.
groudon is extremely effective against the entire elite four and bery good against steven. fire affects most steel and ground moves such as earthquake will damage most people. catch groudon
Totodile; teach him Ice Punch from Goldenrod City to take out your rival's Chikorita. Also, he is tough and will go easy with a water type move against Suicune.
In my opinion, I think that it's Totodile because when he evolves, he can learn ice fang, which is super effective against Chikorita. I did pick Totodile as my starter, but Chikorita doesn't have very good anything, and Typhlosion would get owned by Feraligatr any day.
