In SoulSilver how do you edit the ball animations when it first gets sent out?

I believe you are talking about the seals?
Go to the farm to the west of.....Ecruteak I believe it is. Give the sick cow oran berries until it is healthy again (5 in total if I remember right). Then talk to the girl on the right and she will give you the seal case. Then talk to the girl on the left and she will give you seals. Then go to your PC and on "(player)'s PC" you will see a new option to customize seals. You can add seals to ball covers and then assign them to your party Pokemon. Then, whenever you send that Pokemon out a special animation will happen based on the stickers you use.

I'd get an AR and download Pokesav, which I did. Pokesav can edit anything obtainable in the games Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and Soulsilver. Make sure that you download the correct version of it though!

You have to buy seals in Sunnyshore City in order to have ball capsules. on the PC you have to go to: go to the PC, go to theone that has your name on it. I used an ultra ball, but first, I had to use mean look to keep him from fleeing, and then taunt to keep it from using roar to flee. I personally like to revise first because it saves time. If you edit first you still have to go back and do your revision and then edit again. Then after I have completed my edit I go over it again to make sure I didn't edit out some really important part of the original.
