In Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship 2008 why don't the passwords work?

Passwords for the card machine can be found on any yugioh cards in the bottom left corner of the card there is an 8 digit code, and if you type it in the 'enter password' section of the shop screen you will recieve the card. you must already own the card in- game before you can recieve the card. You can find any card code on Yu-Gi-Oh wikia.
If you mean cheat codes theres no legal in-game ones but if you want action replay codes you can go to codejunkies.com

∙ 14y agoThere are a few possible reasons for your problem. For starters, you could be entering the wrong password. Or you do not have enough Duel Points (DP) to purchase the card.
If neither of those are the case, remember that in order to acquire a card via password entry, you must possess at least one copy of the card in your trunk. If you do not, then you cannot get the card. Purchase booster packs and download cards online to try and find one copy of the card.
