The Caveman's Valentine (2001). Possibly also Resurrecting the Champ (2007). He plays a homeless man in both, but I'm not sure which is the one where he plays an alcoholic homeless man. In the Caveman's Valentine, I think he's just mentally ill (he has hallucinations) but it's been a long time since I've seen this movie, so I just can't remember. I read the synopsis for each movie in imdb (internet Movie DataBase) but neither one mentioned alcohol.
