hey, this is because vba sucks.the memory space is very less so every time u beat the elite four the game will reset. i had the same prob,so i got a hand held.

How do you go back to defeat the dragon if you retreated?
Hi. I think there's a glitch in the game here, because when I retreated and couldn't get back to the dragon the game said I'd defeated it anyway. Just try going back to the spaceship, and see if you have already defeated the dragon. If you haven't, just walk to the left and see what happens. :p Good luck!
