Here is how I see it: - In 'Pirates of the Carribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl' Jack's main enemy was Captain Hector Barbossa because he stole Jack's ship. But, he has a different attitude in the second and third movie [For those of you that didn't see either of them I can't tell you how he came back alive!!] -In 'Pirates of the Carribbean: Dead Man's Chest' Jack's main enemy is Davy Jones because Jack has a debt to pay for him... 99 souls or his life! - In 'Pirates of the Carribbean: At World's End' Jack's main enemy is Lord Cutler Beckett. Sure Jones is still alive but Cutler has control over Jones' heart... and now with the help of Jones' help he plans on wiping out Jack, the other pirates, and anyone who stands in the way of the East India Trading Company And who knows who Jack faces in the fourth movie

∙ 12y agoIn Pirates of the Caribbean Hector Barbossa is most definitely Jack Sparrow's enemy. Jack Sparrow kills him in the first film only to have Calypso bring him back in the second when Jack dies. In the third and fourth movie they are still not great friends, though no one kills the other.
