Kirk owns many Guitars .. Lets start with the guitars he uses. Most such as the KH-1, KH-2 and KH-3 are all made by ESP. They also have a KH-4, modeled after a Gibson of Kirks.
The more famous of Kirks guitars .. the Ouiji, and the Mummy are both KH-2's. As are the Caution, and Spider.

∙ 12y agoKirk Hammett has been with metallica for about 28 years. He's been the lead guitar since their first album Kill 'Em All (1983). Its a common misconception that Dave Mustaine is on the album because he gets credited for some of the song writing. Kirk Hammett replaced Dave Mustaine just a few weeks prior to the recording of Kill 'Em All.
