I would say that yes Aizen is defeated, because all the episode like when Ichigo become the Body guard of that little Princess, there vacantion on the beach and the Zanpakutou (Maramusa) Rebellion, there not just like a break from what going in Hueco muedo or two save Orihime and Karakura Town there are story of what happen after in the future. We realize that just by watching Ichigo the way a access is Vizard power is better at it, In other word by paying enouff attention to the episode there are not story getting out the main story line, there more like time jumping to future event and coming back. All of this does not mean Aizen death maybe a survive and run away. We all have to wait to see if is going to get kill, going to jail (seal him somewere) or a possible twiste that would suprise us all.

(New Edit by random stranger) In the manga, Gin is traveling with Aizen in soul society, where they transported Karakura town (in order for Aizen to not get his hands on the souls there, but Aizen ends up getting past the Captains). Gin pretends to kill Rangiku because of Aizen's orders. Gin inserts a piece of his Zanpakutou's sword into Aizen, and destroys Aizen from the inside out, but the Hougyoku saves Aizen and he remains unharmed. Aizen kills Gin, and Rangiku finds his body, and is heartbroken.

So Mostly Aizen died from Ichigo and a little of his teacher help too.
