No one knows. The name was never mentioned in the books but it says that he has more influence than Machiavelli's Elder. Michael Scott has gone to a lot of trouble coming up with the names. If you go on Wikipedia type in one of the characters names and they're real. The point is it must be someone from a myth or legend that has had a great influence. It also says on the Blurb on the Necromancer that Dr Dee has failed his Elder for not recovering the Codex pages. He could be an Archon.
