Pokerus is good because your pokemons stats will go up more than usual when they level up. There is a cure, to cure a Pokemon of pokerus just keep using it until a little dot shows up on its summary where it used to say PKRS. And IT WILL NOT DO ANYTHING TO YOUR GAME. So it is purely good.

∙ 12y agoNo! It is phenomenally good! It makes your Pokemon grow faster, especially their EV's. Make sure you put an infected Pokemon in a storage box, because the pokerus will be "cured" after 2 days, but in a storage box it will remain forever and can be used to infect others.

No need to worry. Actually believe it or not the Pokerus is actually a good thing in the game. When your Pokemon have the Pokerus they gain double the effort points when your Pokemon are battling. It only lasts about two days before the affect wears off.
