god i hope not robin was a loser.
No, but Arnold Schwarzenegger has played a Batman character before. He portrayed Victor Fries/Mr. Freeze in the film Batman & Robin.
George Clooney played the dark knight in "Batman & Robin" (1997) with Chris O'Donnell as Robin. The villains were Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman), Mr. Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and Bane (Jeep Swenson). The film took Batman nearly to the level of cartoonishness of the old TV series, and was so badly criticized that it caused the end of the first "series" of movies, until the Christian Bale reboot in 2005.
There was a film called Batman in 1966 based on the TV show and a film called Batman in 1989, the first of the four film series.
Tim burtons 1989 batman
Yes- he actually was going to return to do a third film for the series when Tim Burton was still attached to direct.

The very first appearance of Robin in a Batman film was in the film serial simply known as Batman in 1943, in which he was portrayed by Douglas Croft. The first appearance of Robin in a feature film was in the 1995 Joel Schumacher film Batman Forever, where he was played by Chris O'Donnell.
Batman Beyond, the film :)
Yes, Chris O'Donnell portrayed Robin in the 1995 film "Batman Forever" and its 1997 sequel "Batman & Robin." In these movies, the character of Batman was played by George Clooney.
No, but Arnold Schwarzenegger has played a Batman character before. He portrayed Victor Fries/Mr. Freeze in the film Batman & Robin.
No, he was not in The Dark Knight. He was in another Batman film however, Batman & Robin, in the role of Golum.
In the Batman movie that makes fans cringe: Batman and Robin. George Clooney is Batman, Chris O'Donnel is Robin.
No
Robin. In the TV series and film Batman
In the 1989 film, Robin was played by Christian Bale. (Sort of ironic that he would later graduate to play Batman.)
Even though Robin originally had been included in the script- he was dropped from the story and did not appear in the 1989 film. However, Robin did appear on-screen in the sequel "Batman Forever" when Val Kilmer had taken over the role as Batman and Chris O'Donnell was the one playing the Boy Wonder. He returned to play Robin again in the next sequel "Batman & Robin".
There are no plans for a Batman Beyond movie but there is going to be a Batman Superman film as a sequel to the Man of Steel. There are only rumors at the moment over who will play Batman.
