The closest unconditional protection is Mist Body, an equip card that prevents the equipped monster being destroyed by battle. Damage calculation is still performed normally though, so its controlling player will still take damage to their life points as normal.
The monster who battles with the monster equipped with Rainbow Veil, has its effect negated. So if a monster equipped with Rainbow Veil battles a Spirit Reaper, Spirit Reaper's continuous effect will be negated, it can be destroyed by battle.
Mist Body only protects the monster from being destroyed by battle. So the only things it is protected from is destruction from battle with a monster with higher ATK while it is in DEF mode, or equal or higher ATK while it is in ATK mode.
You can't special summon Green Baboon when a Beast monster is destroyed while it is somehow in the S/T zone, by either being equipped by Relinquished, or go there themselves like Crystal Beasts. The reason is, they are destroyed as Continuous/Equip Spell Cards, not as monsters, even though they revert back to monster cards when they're in the graveyard.
It mean that to trigger, they had to be sent to the graveyard while they were equipping a monster. That means if they were discarded from hand, or destroyed while face down, or destroyed because the equipped monster was turned face-down or was removed from the field, then they will not get their effect. But if it was equipped to a monster, and an effect destroyed it (or destroyed it and the monster simultaneously) then that effect will be applied.
Yes, Flint would be destroyed in that case. You equip Flint to a monster, and if that monster would be destroyed, then you (must) re-equip it to another monster. Though initially you'd probably place it one the opponent's monster, the mandatory re-equip may mean you have to put it on one of your own. However if the equipped monster is not 'destroyed', ie, if it is tributed, or removed from play by an effect such as Caius the Shadow Monarch, then Flint itself will be destroyed and go to the graveyard.
Yes - Rare Metalmorph only protects the monster from spells that target. Ojama Delta Hurricane!! does not target, so will destroy the monster.
If the attacker has a higher ATK than the defender's DEF, then the defender is destroyed. No damage is dealt to the defending player's lifepoints unless the attacker has a special effect that allows it to do so. If the attacker has the same ATK as the defender's DEF, then nothing happens. Neither monster is destroyed, and neither player takes any damage. If the attacker has a lower ATK than the defender's DEF, then the attacking player takes damage to his life points equal to the difference. The attacking monster is not destroyed though.

destroyed by battle or by card effects
No, if your attacking Monster is destroyed by an opponent's "Sakuretsu Armor" it is considered destroyed as the result of an effect. In order for a Monster to be considered destroyed as a result of battle, the attacking Monster must have been destroyed because its ATK was equal or less than the opponent's attack position Monster it battled with.
The monster (Obnoxious Celtic Guard) will flip face-up at the beginning of the Damage Step, meaning that its protective continuous effect will be active during Damage Calculation. It will therefore still be safe from monsters of 1900ATK or more, just the same as if it was attacked while face-up.
Card Destruction does not actually 'destroy' anything, for one. For two, assuming you mean Red Nova Dragon, that is a Synchro and can never be in hand. (If you really do mean 'Red Nova', there is no card for it). Lastly, some cards can destroy cards in hand, but if a monster has a 'cannot be destroyed' effect, this is a continuous effect and only applied while it is on the field. So a monster who can't be 'destroyed', can still be destroyed in hand or deck.
Your monster is destroyed if the monster you attack is in attack position, and you lose life points.
Mist Body only protects the monster from being destroyed by battle. So the only things it is protected from is destruction from battle with a monster with higher ATK while it is in DEF mode, or equal or higher ATK while it is in ATK mode.
Destroying a monster does not flip it. But if a monster is flipped face-up when attacked, and considered destroyed by battle, then the flip effect will still activate.

A combination the Continuous Trap Spirit Barrier (which prevents you from taking Battle Damage when you control a mosnter(s)) and the monster Shield Wing (a monster that isn't destroyed by battle up to twice per turn) or the monster Spirit Reaper (a monster that can't be destroyed by battle) may help sustain against a Watt deck in a duel. Also, monsters causing piercing damage can help decrease your opponent's LP regardless of his/her defensive mosnters.
