Is there going to be a 2nd Percy Jackson movie?

As the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is concluded, there will not be another Percy Jackson series.

However, there will be another series featuring the characters from the Percy Jackson series, yet they will be minor characters. This new series is called the Heroes of Olympus, and the first book is titled the Lost Hero. The Lost Hero will be released on October 12th, 2010.

Rick Riordan says that that was the end of the first Camp Half-Blood adventure. So there might be another series but not with Percy and some of his friends (which stinks) but there is going to be a movie on the first series. If you look in the acknowledgements in the back of the 5th Percy Jackson Book, "The Last Olympian", you will see that Mr. Riordan says, "As the first Percy Jackson series comes to a close...". By this, we can only assume that there will be more books that include Percy and his friends. In these books, maybe Percy will be older. Or maybe the series will revolve around a different character as the main character. But who knows? Nobody can ever understand the full extent of an author's mind. Why try?

Yes, the Sea of Monsters movie is coming out on November 18th, 2011.......recently, im not s sure it has not come out yet, because the film did not have good ratings and did not make enough money i dont think they will make a 2nd movie.. im very sad to hear this i am a huge percy jackson fan and i will continue reading the great work of rick riordan

Yes, the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series has five books: The Lightning Thief, The Sea of Monsters, The Titan's Curse, The Battle of the Labyrinth, and The Last Olympian. Rick Riordan did come out with another series based on Greek mythology and his fantasy Camp Half Blood called The Heroes of Olympus. The first book in that series is called The Lost Hero and its sequel is scheduled to come out Fall 2011. The book is to be called The Son of Neptune.
