Since there's five books, and they've only released 1, I should think so. To add to that i think that it is verry possible. At the end of the second movie thalia came back and you see kronos awakaning. It is possible it was set up that way to make another. but due the 1st movie's disapointment i wouldint put it past the fans of the books. Hopefully they made enough money to make a 3rd, but like all series , if it doesent please the fans there will be no new movie.

∙ 13y agoIt has not yet been confirmed if there will be a third movie. The Producers and Cast of the Lightning Thief said it depends on how the first two movies go. But if you are talking bout the books there already is theirs a series of 6.
