I'm not sure what store you could find it in, unless you're willing to go to japan, but i know a PLACE where you could get merchandise. You'll probably have to go to an Anime Convention, like Anime Expo, or Megacon. You'll find merchandise at every convention that has anything to do with anime. Of course, you'll have to pay for a pass to get in, and you'll have to bring even more money to buy the merchandise, but it's totally worth it. Probably the best state to go to for anime conventions would be Florida, because Vic Mignogna(plays ed in the English dub) is at almost every Florida con. You'd probably manage to get a good hug out of him at EXPcon, too. Probably the best con to go to for anime merchandise would be Megacon. It's the biggest con in Florida, and the dealers room(place where you buy stuff) is gigantic. GIGANTIC. Huge. An anime fan's dream. Good Luck! :D
In East Meadow, there is an anime event, but not really a convention. Plus, it's already happened- June 10. However, in New York City, Comic Con is coming up soon, in October.. The tickets are rather expensive, as it is a four-day event, but tickets for just Sunday is $35. I'd suggest buying tickets before hand, as the lines can stretch for blocks and blocks. If you're on Long Island, going into the city shouldn't really be much of a problem, but if you don't have a friend or relative with a place to stay, food and hotel costs can rack up pretty quickly. But do what you can, and there are bound to be small conventions on the Island somewhere. Good luck! :)
Con Collins died in 1937.

At anime conventions, some voice actors who play the voices of anime characters go and sign autographs and answer questions for fans about them. You can cosplay, and there are sometimes cosplay competitions, such as best dressed and most original. There are often anime screenings, AMV contests, workshops, and role playing. It's a really fun experience, over all!
There's a mini-Con on Saturday, Febuary 26 in Dallas. Admission is $20.
You may find some of these movies in game stop. Or it is possible to find them in an anime con.
