Frollo was sent to hell thus freeing Esmeralda and the Gypsies from Frollo's witch hunt, and freeing Quasimodo from his 20 years of isolation from the outside world. Esmeralda fell in love with Captain Phoebus, and Quasimodo is happily accepted by the citizens of Paris.
