Yes, and there is an easy way to tell which can be used. When you are in the Petpet supplies store in the Neopian Bazaar, look for the items that have the small black house in the bottom right corner. If the small house is there, you are able to use that supply in your Neohome.

click on the storage shed link and you will notice on the right side of the items there are boxes. type in the number of items you want to remove in that box and hit enter then it will get moved to your inventory.
