Pokemon Black and White have brand new Pokemon over 150. I saw all of them and they are EPIC! one has 3 heads! (I'm planing to get Black)
Pokemon Ranger 3 has several islands with in the region but doesn't have brand new Pokemon that you haven't seen but you can befriend lots of Pokemon in the region
It depends what you want to get. I recommend getting black or white maybe both. In the end it is what you truly what you would like best. It depends if you are a ranger fan or an adventure that you can trade and connect with your other Pokemon games.

And it also depends on your favorite type. Zekrom is electric/dragon and Reshiram is fire/dragon.
