The actor who plays your pre-flight instructor/captain at Soarin' in EPCOT at Walt Disney World is Patrick Warburton. For many Disney fans, his voice is recognizable from The Emperor's New Groove where he voiced the infamous Kronk. Recently he has been seen on television more where people are able to put a voice with a face. At Soarin,' after for what some guests is a very long wait, cast members direct you into a section where you stand while waiting to enter the ride. A flat screen monitor is positioned in front of the guests where the video of Mr. Warburton is shown explaining what will happen once you are sent inside. It is a great introduction to the ride and helps the time pass while you are waiting again to enter the ride. Despite the wait time for Soarin', it is the best ride at Walt Disney World.
