There are a number of quotes given, and the price varies between New York and the Gulf Coast (Houston). To obtain the Platt quote you need to subscribe to the Platt web-site. The price of jetfuel around the world is published by the airlines association: IATA.

Jet fuel prices will stay in the normal inflation rate at least this year before demand creeps in more. Some of the key players will be rising developing nations like Afghanistan. A click in there and it could trigger an increase in price. The Middle East already has oil so their increase won't matter too much. But it is interesting to state that new technology is poised to make oil obsolete. We'd all hope we can sell it at the best price before it all ends ;)
