Lloyd Hall was an African american scientist who made major contributions to the world. He invented a salt and nitrate crystal that cures the meat without making it taste bitter. He was born on June 20th 1894. He sadly died in 1971. He had several jobs over his life that included Griffith's Laboratories, Chicago Board of Health, John Morrel Co., Chemical Products Co., and The United Nations. He contributed greatly to all of these companies. Another thing he invented was antioxidants such as Lecithin, which stops a food's fats and oils from spoiling. The third biggest thing he solved was he discovered that some spices like Ginger, had bacteria and molds that quickened the spoiling process. He learned to suppress them.
Lloyd Hall-Thompson died in 1992.
