∙ 11y agoCartoons will definitely not make you smarter mathematics, science, or other academic studies. Kids whose parents allow them to watch cartoons tend to have a better senses ofhumor vocabulary, and overall social skills (opinion).
The down side to watching too many cartoons are:
1. it makes your eyes hurt
2. you are at risk of being yelled at by your parents (take it from a kid)
3. if you get addicted to cartoons, you may neglect your studies, which results in bad grades and stress.
Advantage | They can be entertaining & funny. Educational for children.
Disadvantage | Not all are educational, but then again, aside from specific channels, TVisn'teducational. It's for entertainment purposes.
