The following are a list of combos that have resulted in these cards becoming banned and/ or restricted in the TCG Advance Format in order to prevent their usage:
Cyber-Stein OTK
With this combo, the duelist could use Cyber-Stein to Special Summoned Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon or Cyber End Dragon and equip it with Megamorph to potentially OTTK (One-Turn Kill) the opponent. As a result, Cyber-Stein is now Banned.
Magical Scientist OTK
Using Magical Scientist and Catapult Turtle, you can Special Summon six Fusion Monsters to tribute with Catapult Turtle, in addition to Magical Scientist and Catapult Turtle at the end, to inflict over 8000 damage to your opponent's Life Points. A popular method to set up this combo is to Special Summon Gilasarus, tribute it to Tribute Summon Catapult Turtle and activate Last Will to Special SUmmon Magical Scientist. Magical Scientist and Last Will are currently Banned.
Goat Control
By using Metamorphosis on a Sheep Token Special Summon with Scapegoat (or any other Level 1 monster), you can easily Special Summon Thousand-Eyes Restrict. You can also use Tsukuyomi to flip Thousand-Eye's Restrictface-down to reuse its effect to equip monsters. The various cards of this combo have be banned and limited.
