Although we do not know for certain what he fought, Aragorn spoke of great evil and terrors that he kept at bay. Butterbur spoke of terrible things and wolves that haunted them after the rangers left. We know that Aragorn kept evil wild animals under control, maybe they were directed by Sauron's will. Also, as Angmar was not fully cleansed, only vanquished, remnants of its denizens might linger in Arnor. That is very likely. Aragorn could have fought wolves, things such as barrow-wights, and perhaps goblins and goblin bands. The rangers job was also to protect the Shire.

Anakin from Star Wars is better because Anakin can use the Living Force to his advantage, and while Aragorn is good with medieval weapons like a sword and bow and arrow and crossbow, Anakin has a lightsaber and can, of course, move things with his mind, so he could probably tear the weapon out of Aragorn's hand or deflect him with his mind, should they ever fight each other. Also, if somebody wants to fight Aragorn, they are going to fight him, while Anakin can use the Jedi mind trick to make the person back off and let him through, etc. Anakin is also a pilot and is good with mechanical things like droids. Plus, he is, of course, the Chosen One. And there is no competing with that. No matter how good you are with a crossbow.
Arwen used elvish magic to guide him to Aragorn.
