She learns from one of his coworkers, Cole Younger, that he had died in Arkansas 3 days earlier of "Night Hoss". I have yet to find a definition of this. She, then, retrieves his body from the Confederate cemetery in Arkansas and has him buried in her family lot in Yell County, Arknsas.
