After the end of the Second Wizarding War, Harry became an Auror at the Ministry of Magic; new Minister for Magic Kingsley Shacklebolt permitted those who had fought in the final battle to become Aurors without getting their N.E.W.T.'s.
In 2007, Harry became head of the Auror Office. He helped to reform and revolutionize the Ministry along with Ron Weasley, who also became an Auror, and Hermione Granger, who worked high up in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
At some point, all three of them were featured on Chocolate Frog Cards for their accomplishments.

∙ 14y agoharry never kills him, voldemort is using the elder wand (which harry has power over) and the elder wand can't kill its "master" which is harry so when voldemort uses the killing curse and harry uses expelliarmus, the killing curse rebounds as it cant kill harry and kills the person holding the wand. voldemort.

They round up the dead, which includes Fred Weasely, a young Hogwarts student who snuck into battle, Nymphadora Tonks, and Remus Lupin. The survivors rejoice about the euphoric trounce of Lord Voldemort and mourn the dead while relationships are formed, destroyed, brought back, and rekindled. In the epilogue of the novel, the last chapter, which takes place several years after Voldemort's defeat, a much-older Harry, now married to Ginny, is at platform nine and three quarters along with the married Hermione and Ronald, with their respective children as they depart off to Hogwarts for their magical studies.

(you know, the N.E.W.T's) and that's because, according to Kingsley, the new Minister of Magic, anyone who participated in the Battle of Hogwarts (at the end of the Second Wizarding War) can have this job. Neville and Ron are Aurors too.
