Confringo spell forces an object to explode in flames!
It's in the final section to the level, "follow dean", where you are in "the abandoned substation." when you realises that there is a bunch of rocks in your way to the exit of the level, it will tell you to find a way of moving them. go back and defeat the enemies again. it is in the the centre of the section of broken concrete things to your left.
first you need to find the spellbook thing by casting four pointers to lead you to it. you will need to fight off some death eaters before getting the book. If the four pointers keep leading you back to the rocks, then you may have to start the level over. That happened to me. But it only restarts from where you first found the rocks, so dont worry
Well, the spell casting between McGonagall and Snape actually occurs in Part 2, and as far as I know, the duel between the two of them is much more extensive. But there is speculation that the spell used against Snape is the same used against Nagini by Harry in the courtyard, Confringo.
Stun: Stupefy Push Away: Impedimenta Light on Fire: Incendio Shield Charm: Protego Patronus: Expecto Patronum Body-Bind: Petrificus Totalus Bleed: Sectumsempra Explode: Expulso Disarming: Expelliarmus Explode: Bombarda Explode: Confringo Pick Up by Ankle: Levicorpus Wipe Memory: Obliviate Damage: Reducto Those are all the defensive spells I really know. Some are offensive, I think, but that's still them.
i think there are multiple fire spells. the only ones mentioned in the books are Incendio and Confringo. *Flagrate and the fiendfyre curse are also fire spells. Dumbledore also uses an unknown spell in HBP to summon a firestorm. Gubraithian fire and the bluebell flames could also be counted. All of these are in the book canon.
Confringo uses heat, like a bomb, whereas Expulso appears to use pressure
You will need to find the confringo spell and cast it at the barrier
Bombarda was created for a movie/video game. It is not in the book, so therefore not considered canon. Confringo was not seen until Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, so if the movie/video game was released before the final book and featured a situation requiring a blasting curse, an alternate incantation would have been created for that purpose.
The Configuro Spellbook was hidden near by an old building close near an Acromantula lair and some abandoned nuclear power plants. The Configuro Spellbook gives instructions about and teaches one how to perform the Blasting Curse.

You get the confringo spell book in the level, follow dean (cooling towers). in the final section where you have to blow up a large set of rocks blocking your path at the end, go back. defeat the Enemies for a second time and go to where the concrete block rubble thing is. it is in there.
