The game pak has an internal battery inside, so when the battery is dry you can't have events going in your game you might not find certain Pokemon or have certain decorations for your secret base because the department has discounts on items as new limited items which you need the internal battery to work.
The game is still playable, but if you want those time-based features you either have to buy a new game or replace the internal battery.
the internal battery is a battery in the game that allows time events such as clock and berries to grow even when your not playing it, when i runs out, youll have to replace it
If you mean Pokémon Fire Red, then you get the National Dex, which enables you to trade Pokémon from Generation III over from Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. Also, Cerulean Cave's guard will vanish, enabling you to enter Mewtwo's home. But if you mean the original Red Version, then there's no answer; Celio and the Sevii Islands did not exist except in the Generation I remakes, Fire Red Version and Leaf Green Version.
If by memory u mean the save file then that is Ur internal battery source the same device that runs the clocks in the game you need to replace it or just buy a new Pokemon gold game.
It means the internal parts of animal bodies, especially the intestines.
