No, a Nazirite and a Levite are not the same. A Nazirite is an individual who takes a vow to abstain from wine, cutting their hair, and touching dead bodies for a period of time as an act of devotion to God. A Levite, on the other hand, is a member of the tribe of Levi who had specific religious duties in ancient Israel, such as serving in the tabernacle or temple.
Nazir (× ×–×™×¨) is a Nazirite. There is no word in English that is equivalent, but some people mistranslate this word as "monk". See related links for an explanation of Nazirites.
He was a Nazirite and thus could not have his hair cut or have any form of alchohol.
Samson and John the Baptizer were two that come to mind. They were Nazirites (One Singled Out; Dedicated One; Separated One)There were two types of NaziritesOne who was born a 'Nazirite' for life, by divine commission from Godand One who took a Nazirite vow for a time period. Both were to keep away from wine and intoxicating liquor, wine vinegar, grapes (fresh or dried), any liquid made from grapes, and anything at all that is made from the wine vine, from the unripe grapes to the skins.(Numbers 6:1-7)Samson was a Nazirite from birth(Judges 13:2-5) and because of this his mother could not have any product of the vine either(Judges 13:24)(Judges 16:17)John the Baptizer (Luke 1:13-17), also a Nazirite from birth, was completely devoted to God, and so could not touch wine or strong drink.
No...the term Nazi was essentially a slang term that referred to someone who was a member of the National Socialist German Worker's Party. The term Nazirite is a Hebrew word which root means to consecrate one's self to God. For example, Samson was a Nazarite from birth. His vow to the Lord sworn first by his mother was that no razor would ever touch his head and he would never take strong drink. His life was to be one of service to the Lord. The root word for Nazarite is Nazar which means to dedicate, consecrate or separate. There is absolutely no correlation between the word Nazi and Nazirite.
There is no 'King Samson' in the Bible. Samson, a Danite from Zorah, was a judge in Israel and a Nazirite from birth.(Judges 13:1-5, 24)
The Bible doesn't say what his occupation is. It is very likely he didn't have one because his description in the Bible suggests that he was a nazirite. This was the name given to a Jew set aside for a particular purpose - to do God's work. Nazirites wore animal skins (as did John) and did not cut their hair (John didn't either) and ate simple food (John ate locusts and wild honey). The other famous Nazirite worth a mention was Samson, the man of great strength who lost it after his hair was cut by Delilah's servant. In losing his hair he also lost his strength - by being a broken man because of his breaking the vows needed for the calling of a nazirite.

In the Old Testament, in Numbers, chapter 6, verse 1, it says ...if a man or a woman wants to make a special vow, a vow of separation to the Lord as a Nazirite...
Samson was a Nazirite from birth; consecrated to God. The Lord used him to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines; God empowered him with supernatural strength to commence Israel's deliverance from the Philistines.
