Lombard speculates that the motorboat's absence is part of a larger scheme, likely indicating that someone has deliberately ensured that no escape is possible for the group on the island. He suspects that the lack of a functioning boat may be a calculated move to trap them, heightening the sense of danger and urgency among the characters. This realization adds to the tension and paranoia as they grapple with their precarious situation.
well chapter 11 is when Zachariah dies so i guess cranick dies in ether chapter 9 or 10 :)
A horrible situation to be in, it's happened to me. First of all, a true friend would hear your side of it, but sometimes anyone can be manipulated. I would let your side of the story be known, but then move on and hang out with other people. Your friend may eventually realise the true face of whoever lied about you and start rebuilding bridges, but you would be better to let them realise that on your own.
No one can be entierly sure, but from the way Ozai put it in the Day of Black Sun, she killed Azulon to save Zuko and put Ozai on the throne rather then Iroh. She may also have (my personal guess) forged something that made Ozai Fire Lord, but again, this last part may not be true. It's never explained why Ozai is fire lord, so my guess is that she also had something to do with it, which was also considered treason.
Bruno reveals his lack of understanding by naively accepting the circumstances around him without questioning them. He refers to the people in the striped pajamas as "the Others" without grasping the true nature of their situation or the implications of the camp. His innocent curiosity and simplistic views highlight his inability to comprehend the gravity of the Holocaust and the atrocities occurring around him. This ignorance emphasizes his sheltered upbringing and the disconnect between his world and the harsh realities outside.
Lily explains her presence in town to the storekeeper by stating that she is visiting relatives. She tries to maintain a casual demeanor, emphasizing that she is just passing through and looking to explore a bit. This explanation serves to mask her true intentions and the complexity of her situation.
Lombard suspects that someone among the guests has sabotaged the motorboat to strand them on the island, creating the perfect opportunity for the murderer to continue their killings undetected. He believes the killer is using the boat as a way to control the group and carry out their plan of murder.
Philip Lombard was hired to go to Indian Island as a guest by the mysterious Mr. Owens, who promised him a substantial sum of money to do so. Lombard was enticed by the opportunity to earn money and accepted the invitation, unaware of the true intentions behind the invitation.
Lombard suspects Wargrave because he sees him as a mysterious character with a commanding presence, who could potentially be behind the murders on the island due to his background as a judge and his understanding of human psychology. Additionally, Wargrave's calm demeanor and ability to manipulate others raise suspicions about his true intentions.
A paradox.
a educated guess about a ubject that is proven true
a educated guess about a ubject that is proven true
I guess so....
no, it is when you make an educated guess to draw conclusions. therefore it's not always true.
The prediction about the outcome of an experiment is a hypothesis. It is basically an educated guess, and you see if your guess comes true or not.
Perspicacity.
A conjecture is but an educated guess. While there might be some reason for the guess based on knowledge of a subject, it's still a guess.
is it true or false my guess is False
