NEWCASTLERULESNO.....there is another book called crocodile tears. I didnt know about it until someone bought it for me for Christmas and i was really surprised and happy.TITIT001">TITIT001r u jokin? i thought snakehead was th last! r u sure u hav the right series? in the alex rider series by Anthony horowitz, snakehead is the last!NEWCASTLERULESI haven't actually read it yet, but it says 'Alex rider'on the front and on the inside cover it says in the author's comments 'this is the eighth Alex Rider novel - and it seems amazing that it's been ten years since I sat down and wrote stormbreaker'. It is definitely by Anthony horowitz. it also says in the blurb: 'New years eve in Scotland and for once Alex Rider is enjoying a normal life. But then he meets Desmond McCain, the dynamic chief for an international charity, First Aid, and what starts as a simple card game rapidly becomes a duel to the death. Suddenly Alex Rider is in more danger than every before and his life is threatened without even knowing why. Things get worse when he is confronted by a journalist...'I also belived that snakehead was the last in the alex rider series, but I have the book in front of me now, so it must not be.Check out these websites:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Riderhttp://www.alexrider.com/Originally, Yassen was to follow Snakehead as the eighth book, and would be the final Alex Rider novel. However, Horowitz rethought this idea, following negative responses during school visits. Crocodile Tears was instead released as the eighth book, in November 2009. This will be followed by Yassen and then by the tenth and last book, which could be named Endurance Point making for a series of ten books.Jonnyok thanx I'll check the website! i really like that series so i guess I'll have to read crocodile tears!! thx
Yes, there are two series that are almost as good. The Jason Steed series by Mark A. Cooper is the closest to Alex Rider, but more like Karate Kid/James Bond. Book 1 Fledgling Jason Steed. Book 2 Revenge Jason Steed. Book 3 Jason Steed Absolutey Nothing. Another series is the CHERUB series by Robert Muchamore. Book 1 is called Recruit. Book 2, Class A. A group of orphan children live and learn at a spy acedemy.

It depends on what you like. The Alex Rider series has a more 007 secret agent feel and is more realistic. Whereas, the Artemis Fowl series is more boy genius feel but is sci-fi.
Alex rider, is the main protagonist. the main antagonist is Herod sayle or yassen depending how you look at the problem. now to the other characters. the characters that help Alex along the way are Mr. crawly by giving him weapons that look like toys. next person that helped Alex along his journey is jackstarbright. she is an undercover housekeeper for Alex. unfortunately, her visa is about to expire, however. other than that, the other good guys in the book are mrs.jones, smithers, Alan blunt, Ian, person who died and caused Alex all this trouble. if you want more info just put it out there and I'll answer your ludicrous Questions.
