Are akiza and yusei in love?
Akiza does love Yusei because in episode 71 she gets all emotional and mad when Yusei is kidnapped and Jack says "This Yusei business has you all wound up. If I didn't know any better I'd say you were in love with him." In episode 60 Sayer, disguised as a police officer, tells Yusei "I take it you have special feelings for this girl. Why else would you come to a place like this?" (this is only in the english version). The biggest thing is in the last episode of the japanese version, where Akiza ALMOST tells Yusei she loves him, but at the last second changes her mind. However, Yusei likely knew that Akiza loved him, by his reaction and returning statements in the conversation, most likely also held feelings for Akiza.
Why yusei is in love with aki?
We kind of do know and don't. We know Akiza loves Yusei, because in episode 71 when Yusei is kidnapped she gets all emotional and mad so Jack points it out and says "This Yusei business has you all worked up Akiza. If I didn't know any better I'd say you were in love with him." And in episode 60 Sayer (under the guise of a police officer) tells Yusei "I take it you have special feelings for this girl. Why else would you come to such a dangerous place like this?" (curiously enough this is only in the english version anf not the japanese). Also, in the japanese version, during the last episode Akiza ALMOST admits to loving Yusei and by his reaction this pretty much confirms he loves her.
Will yusei and akiza go out?
In episode 75, Yusei takes Akiza to a skating ring. Luna and Leo are debating is this is a "date". It is confirmed when Akiza trips and blushes when Yusei catches her. But we don't know if their relationship will progress further, it was not in the Japanese version, but might be in the 4kids English Version.
