Now if you add your math correctly you'll see that it ended in 2003, in which it did. By that time however MGM had gone under so during that time Disney hasn't had anything to worry about. A few years later guests started to take notice that MGM was gone and starting asking questions which is why it finally did change in 2008, because Disney had to change it but they decided it would be best to wait and take their time to see what to call it.
