Officially they say somewhere around 8-12 year olds but it can be read and enjoyed by any age.
The series is recommended for 9-12 years olds.
they don't all have the same age limit cos i now sea of monsters is 6+ and the last Olympian is 9+
Silena's age is never revealed in the Percy Jackson book series. She is played by 19-year-old Zoe Aggeliki in the film Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.
It is very confusing, but from the fact that she has a few streaks of gray she should be somewhere between 40-50, but that's pure speculation, never in the book is an age even hinted beyond slightly graying hair.
It's definitely a better of an opinion and I find Percy Jackson one of my favourite books, however, I feel that you should have an open mind when reading Percy Jackson and not think everything is lame and just treat it as a story and not for real [the author, Rick, said it wasn't real] and just appreciate the fantastic plot. Have fun reading, if anything else go to:www.percyjackson.co.UK the Percy Jackson series is most definitely the BEST BOOK SERIES EVER!!!! if you have not read it read it if you are reading it an d you think nothing good is going to happen keep reading it gets better it is an intriguing fantasy about hero's and Villon's it is cool and has interesting facts about the Greek gods and other hero's it is a tale of heroics love and battle that will keep you on the edge of your seat there are parts where you just don't know what will happen next it is a true adventure novel filled with Witty remarks good writing and is vary well put together you will love it. take it from the biggest book dweeb ever this book rox!

for the first one coming in february 2010 Percy Jackson-Logan Lerman Annabeth Chase-Alexandra Daddario Chiron-Pierce Brosnan Grover-I forget Medusa-Uma Thurman I forget some. Actors are having some age problems, Logan is 17 playing a 12 year old Percy, Alexandra is 24, playing a 12 year old Annabeth, Grover's actor is older than like 28, I believe they were directing in Vancouver.
a pg
I personally think that this movie is going to suck. They are ruining it. The cast is horrible, though Logan Lerman is okay for Percy besides his age.
You are never too old to enjoy reading books that you love. If you enjoy the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, then don't worry about your age! Keep reading what brings you joy and entertainment. Each person has different interests, so enjoy them at your own pace.
2010+

The Percy Jackson series is generally recommended for readers aged 9-12, but can be enjoyed by readers of all ages who enjoy fantasy and adventure stories.
Chris Columbus has confirmed that they have changed the age of Percy to 17 and Annabeth will be 18. The reason he is probably doing this is to appeal to a wider audience instead of just younger children who have only read the books.
I don't think that they will, Logan was to old to play Percy. They should have made Percy the right age, 12 years old!

NO it is full of highly inappropriate language such as the use of the word G*d, dam*ation and MORE. Also, there is very un-child friendly sexual tension between the characters Percy and Annabeth (HIS NIECE), Luke and Annabeth (ALSO AN EXTREME AGE DIFFERENCE and FAMILY CONNECTION) and Nico and Bianca (TWINS). I am highly uncomfortable with the children of America reading these preposterous "children's" novels.
The golden age of the Percy Jackson series refers to the period when the original five books in the series were released. During this time, the series gained immense popularity and established itself as a beloved and influential piece of children's literature, leading to adaptations and spin-offs.
