Seneca does it to make the Games more interesting to the audience, which is all that matters to him. Since Peeta loved Katniss, the audience was excited that they would get a chance to stay together. When Seneca switch the rules back afterwards it was agonizingly exciting for the audience to see Katniss and Peeta do some wonderful act of love (although what they did was certainly not what they expected). So the only reason for the rule change was to switch up the Games a little, for the audience's enjoyment.
Yes it does! There used to be a little show going on near the sword in the stone where Merlin would choose a kid in the audience and the kid would pull it out! Sadly, the show is no longer done and nobody knows how the guy who played Merlin go the stone to pop out. If any cast members out there that knows how it's done please post it here!
=She wowed the audience at Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. She was a master at using pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Because of all her accomplishments that involved gauns she was dubbed "Little Miss Sure Shot."=
It would seem so but I have yet to find a definitive statement to that effect. During his performance of "Tossin' And Turnin' on PBS' 2001 "Rock, Rhythm and Doo Wop" he can be seen to face stage right, away from the audience, several times for considerable periods of time. Even though the video of his performance is edited with sympathy it's also apparent that the guitarist grasps Mr. Lewis's arm to turn him back toward the audience several times. Blind or not he still gives a spirited, credible, and enjoyable performance. Hello to all... Gene here (Gene and The Cadillac Cruisers-Baltimore Maryland). I was Bobby Lewis' guitarist on Rock, Rythmn & Do Wop show 2001. Here is the correct answer. Bobby is partially blind from macular degenaration. As described by Mr. Lewis, his vision is like looking through a sheet of dirty plastic. Before the PBS show, the producer came to me and asked if Bobby had sun glasses. He had to wear them because his eyes looked strange to the camera. When he put on dark sunglasses, he saw very little. During the performance, he turned to the left, loosing his place, and was nearly facing the drummer when he finished. You can see my hand reaching out trying to correct his place on stage, and at the conclusion, I "swung him around" so he could face the audience, taking his bows. The camera boom did an excellent job of following Bobby, and they captured his masterful performance.
Because by the 8th season (when she left) she was kind of being used as a prop. They would just stick her in anywhere after she got married because they wanted to show the audience that she was still there and all, but she didn't want to be used for that or be treated like that so she left the series. There is an interview of her on you tube and she explains why she left.
