With good old silver polish and lots of elbow grease. I remember my mother having a silver tray with tea pot, cups, knives, forks, etc., and when I was in my teens she'd make me clean the silver. I detested it and have an aversion to silver trays to this day! LOL It use to take me well over 2 hours to do this job.

∙ 10y agoDust can be removed from silver by using hot water. Silver cream can be used to restore the luster as well. Polishing the silver 2-6 times a year will usually keep it shiny.
