The best way to train a bulbasaur in leafgreen at the beginning would to just work through the game generally, because he kicks butt when versing both Brock and Misty due to the awesome type advantage. If you have already beaten them, I would recommend Surfing around cinnibar city, home of Blaine. You can get surf in the safari zone in Fuschia city. Digletts cave is also a great method. Hope this helps!
You can't find a Bulbasaur in the wild. You either get it as a Starter Pokémon, or you don't. That's the only way you can own one, unless you trade one over from another game.
Have it as a starter Pokemon and then trade it to a game.
Bulbasaur can be chosen as a started Pokemon in Red, Blue, FireRed and LeafGreen and one can be given to you by Professor Oak after compleating HeartGold or SoulSilver and by a woman in Cerulean City in Yellow version. You can also transfer a Bulbasaur from another game. There is no way to find wild Bulbasaur without a cheat device (except possibly by exploiting glitches in Red, Blue and Yellow) The only way to get an Ivysaur or a Venusaur is to evolve Bulbasaur (or transfer from somebody who has evolved a Bulbasaur).
No, in fact, all grass-type Pokemon are easy to train and Bulbasaur is not an exception. It will learn the same moves as its relatives Ivysaur and Venusaur but will have lower overall stats, including HP. My Bulbasaur went through this too and I had to learn the hard way!
Bulbasaur is a starter Pokemon. They cannot be found in the wild. What you can do is put a female bulbasaur with a ditto in the daycare and wait until they produce an egg. HAtch the egg and there ya have it, a level 5 Bulbasaur. The only way to get a Bulbasaur is to choose it as your starter or to trade it from another game.At the beginning of the game when you go into the grass in the upper hand corner and oak will take you to his lab. he will tell you to pick one of 3 pokemon. so pick bulbasaur
Grind in a cave.
IT IS NOT IN POKEMON DIAMOND OR PEARL BECAUSE IT IS ONE OF THE STARTING POKEMON IN LEAFGREEN!!!!! Migrate one from firered or leafgreen.
You can three games and migrate them.
There is no way of catching/obtaining one in Sapphire, unless it is traded over from FireRed/LeafGreen
