∙ 10y agoI believe this first Marvel movie to be distributed by Walt Disney Company was Iron Man 2. This is because on December 31st, 2009 Walt Disney Company purchased Marvel Entertainmeny for $4 billion. And since Iron Man 2 was released on May 2nd, 2010 it would make it the first Marvel movie distributed by Disney.
All together, so far, Disney had distributed 5 Marvel movies: Iron Man 2 and 3 Thor, Captain America and the Avengers. It is highly possible that Disney will also distribute Captain America 2, Thor 2, Gaurdians of the Galaxy, Avengers 2 and 3, Ant-Man, Black Panther and The Incriible Hulk Returns.
