He found out at the end of Chapter 8: We Capture a Flag.

"My father?" I asked, completely bewildered.

"Poseidon," said Chiron. "Earthshaker, Stormbringer, Father of Horses. Hail, Perseus Jackson, Son of the Sea God."

What new information does Annabeth tell us about her father in chapter 13?

In the Lightning Thief? Okay. I just finished reading Chapter 14 so I'll be glad to tell you. Here it is: So Percy, Grover, and Annabeth are discussing how to save Percy's mother. Annabeth keeps telling Percy that it is dangerous to try to save her, but Percy asks "What would you do if it was your dad?" and Annabeth says the phrase, "That's easy. I'd leave him to rot." which shocks Percy, so obviously he requests to know why. Annabeth explains that her dad got remarried and forgot about Athena. He had new regular kids and his wife was really unkind to Annabeth and didn't even let her play with their regular children. So, Annabeth ran away. That's the information. P.S. I recommend that you read the series yourself instead of asking about things in WikiAnswers. Not in a mean way, it's just that you're ruining it for yourself when you don't read yourself.

What new information does annabeth tell us about her in this chapter?

In the Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan? The Lightning Theif? Okay, I'm assuming so. Annabeth is a demigod kid of Athena, right? So monsters find her and try to kill her for reason all their own. Her dad got freaked and was all like, "Annabeth, you're a weirdo! Don't you dare hurt anybody by bringing monsters here!" Also, her stepmom had 2 kids and didn't want them hurt. So Annabeth ran away because they were mean to her.

When does Annabeth start liking Percy?

When Annabeth and Percy first met, Annabeth didn't like Percy that much, not as a friend, or anything. But in the first book, Percy, Grover, and Annabeth go on a quest to retrieve Zeus's master bolt. That is when Annabeth started to like Percy as a friend. As the series continues, the two become closer, and start to have feelings for each other gradually. By the third book, the Titan's Curse, it is certain that they both have feelings for each other. And finally, in the fifth book, they finally hook up and start dating.

Why does Romeo tell Juliet's Nurse not to tell Juliet's mother or father about the plan?

because she new she was in love with him and didn't want to split them up.

Why did annabeth could not go on a quest lightning thief?

Annabeth is upset because quests were banned for a time at the camp after Luke failed one miserably. Annabeth has wanted a quest for a long time to prove herself to her mother and gain some attention from Athena. Percy, a new demigod, shows up, and suddenly he gets a quest just because of his father. That grates on Annabeth. Something else she mentions, which comes into play later in the story, is that Poseidon and Athena are not friends, and their children aren’t supposed to be either. It goes back to an old myth about their rivalry to become the patron god of Athens. Athena won, giving them the olive tree, and ever since they have been at odds with one another. Annabeth bucks that trend, falling in love with Percy eventually, but it is one example of how Riordan weaves the old myths into the new story and makes them relevant.
