Being a huge fan of The Police and Synchronicity, I had a pair of these sunglasses 25 years ago -- I believe they were Ray Bans. I've tried to find the exact model on their Web site, but Ray Ban doesn't seem to make them any more.

I've found some sunglasses made by Julbo [http://www.julbousa.com/mountain/] which come close to the look of Sting's glasses on the Synchonicity album; the Julbo Sherpa model come close. Also, look for Bolle's glacier sunglasses (frame 8161, also known as the Crevasse model).

I found a site which has a bunch of climbing sunglasses which resemble Sting's: http://www.eyefish.com/climbingframes.htm

Lastly, if you search eBay or Google for the terms "mountain sunglasses", "glacier sunglasses" or "Ray Ban Cats" and you'll probably find a bunch of similar models.
