Politoed is a Water type pokemon.
Walrein because of its extremely high stats, but Politoed is just awesome.
Get a Poliwrath if you are more into fighting other pokemon. Get a Politoed if you are trying to collect ribbons in contests. To get a Poliwrath you must expose it to a water stone while if you want to get a Politoed then you must trade it while it's holding a King's rock. Overall I recommend a Poliwrath. Here are my reasons: 1. It's a dual type pokemon. It's a Water/Fighting type. 2. It gets STAB in fighting type moves which Politoed cannot. 3. You don't need to make a trade and water stones are easier to find than King's rock.
you have to have a poliwhirl and give it a kings rock and then trade it.
you evolve poliwhirl into politoed with trade while holding kings rock
To evolve a Poliwhirl into a Politoed, you must trade your Poliwhirl while holding a King's Rock. The King's Rock is only obtainable on occasional wild Polywhirl (after obtaining the national dex) and using the pick-up ability (like that of Ziggzagoon and others). or you can find on in celestic town
Politoed is #186 in the national pokedex, and it is a Water type Pokemon.
Politoed is a national-dex Pokemon so it can only be obtained through a trade.
poliwhirl has to be traded with a kings rock to get politoed
Politoed is a Water type like its pre-evolutions :D Poliwrath is Water and Fighting...

To see politoed on D/P you have to migrate it from a GBA Pokemon game or Trade a poliwhirl holding a kings rock.
slowpoke to slowking poliwhirl to politoed
Trade the poliwhirl while it holds the item King's Rock then ask for the politoed back from the person you traded it to.

Yes, you can get Politoed in Pokémon Black 2, you will be able to find wild Politoed in Routes 6, 19 and 20 and you can also find it in the Floccesy Ranch, the Lostlorn Forest, the Victory Road and the Clay Tunnel.
Poliwrath is good when you use it for battles against wild pokemon, trainers and gym leaders. Politoed in the other hand is better when it comes to the contests. Poliwhirl evolves to Poliwrath when you expose it to a water stone while it can also evolve into a Politoed when you trade it holding a King's rock. Overall I would recommend a Poliwrath because it is dual type and is stronger. It will get STAB on fighting type moves.
