I'm not sure what you mean by last gun but the guns he used in his last movie The Shootist were called Great Westerns. Most of the guns he uses in his films were from his private collection. The Great Westerns were historically accurate for the time period that The Shootist was filmed in. Wayne had an extensive gun collection, most of them rare antiques which I think went to his oldest son Michael after his death for safekeeping.

I'm not sure if you are asking about a gun or a horse. His horse was sold shortly before his death in 1979. His extensive gun collection was in the care of his oldest son Michael. With Michael's death I think the collection is now in the John Wayne Museum where everyone can enjoy it.MOREI looked this up and found out Wayne gave his Colt SAA to a man by the name of Gary Hess who worked for him as an engineer in his DECO gas/oil company. Gary came up with a new method to extract natural gas. When Wayne told him he didn't know how to repay him Hess asked for the gun and Wayne gave it to him. In 2003 it was sold by Battlefield's to Dr. Robert W. Azar of Parkersburg, WV who still has it. Until I looked this up I would have guessed it was in the Wayne Museum too, but actually the story attached to the gun is pretty interesting.
