∙ 12y agoback when Disney worked at Universal Studios, Ub Iwerks and Walt Disney worked together to make Oswsald the Lucky Rabbit, so technically, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit would be the first cartoon. but if you want specifics, Mickey was the first cartoon Disney made at his own company. Steamboat Willie was the first Mickey cartoon. mickey is inspired by Oswald so if it wasn't for him, I don't believe Mickey would be here today. If I am incorrect please tell me. Thank you.
