snape made a unbrackable vow to Draco malfoys mother and by doing so swore to do anything in his power to help Draco, Draco's mission was to lead the death eaters into hogwarts and Draco himself must kill dumboldore, he found he could not kill him so snape killed him for Draco.
Actually, Snape had already promised Dumbledore that he would kill him, for Dumbledore was already dying, so instead of having Draco ( who has never killed anyone) have this sin on his hands, dumbledore had pre-decied that snape would be the one to kill him. Snape was dumbledores man through and through so there was no way that if dumbledore had not had asked snape to kill him, snape would never have gone through with the unbreakable vow. Dumbledore was always steps ahead of everyone and know that his death was coming, so he choose the time and manner of his death.
Snape kills dumbledore as a favor to dumbledor. For he'd been cursed by the horcrux ring so he only had but a year to live. snape also did it to keep malfoys soul intact,to protect the kids of hogwarts and keep voldemort thinking snape is on his side.
the reason snape killed him was to not have Harry under the protecion of him so Vodemort can attack Harry
This will be much clearer when you read book 7.

~Yes it means Harry controls the Elder Wand. Because the Elder wand is controlled by whoever defeats its previous welder(owner).Notes:1. Voldemort killed himself (accidentally).2. He died when Severus Snape used Avada Kedavra on him in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It turned out that Snape killed Dumbledore upon Dumbledore's request. Dumbledore did not want Lord Voldemort to gain power of the Elder Wand, so he had a man that he trusted kill him so that Dumbledore would be the last true master of the wand.Snape had been Dumbledore's man ever since Voldemort threatened Lily Evans life. Snape then begged Dumbledore to help protect her. In return Snape was to suggest to Voldemort that he pretend to join the Order of the Phoenix as a spy, in reality he was spying on the Death Eaters for the Order and only passing on select information to Voldemort. He was killed by snape under the orders of both voldemort and dumbeldore himself. He then fell over a hundred. Feet off the highest tower at hogwarts.
There is no real significance it is simply a trait that many people noticed about Harry that knew his mother. == Severus Snape and James Potter hated each other. However, Severus loved Lily Potter and was racked with guilt over his part in her death. Harry looked just like James and every time Snape looked at Harry he was reminded of all the awful things James did to him. Due to this Snape was never able to form a positive relationship with Harry. The exception to Harry's resemblance with James did not include his eyes. Harry had Lily's eyes. This was a constant reminder to Snape of his guilt and of what Voldemort could do. No matter how Snape felt about Harry, it was Lily's eyes that kept Snape committed to Harry and what he had to do to protect him and help him defeat Voldemort at any cost.
The real answer is that Snape was on Dumbledore's side, so he killed Dumbledore on Dumbledore's orders. He has been a fake servant to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

Sort of. After he is killed by Snape in the sixth book, he doesn't reappear in real life, but after Harry is hit by Voldemort's killing curse, he has a conversation when Harry's sort-of dead.
The real reason that President John F. Kennedy was killed is not known and has been debated for decades. He was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald who apparently did not agree with the President's politics and policies.
Severus Snape attempted to get Harry Potter expelled from Hogwarts on several occasions. Snape wanted to punish Harry for James' actions towards Snape. Throughout the years, Snape bullied, embarrassed and punished Harry. Yet, Snape also works with Dumbledore to protect Harry's life because he wanted to protect the son of Lily Potter.
