When does sunkern evolve?

Not levels.

You get a sun stone for a prize at the Bug Catching Contest.

The Bug Catching Contest is held on Thursdays,Tuesdays and Saturdays

It might be hard because the owner of the Bug Catching Contest gives out random prizes.

You need a Sun Stone.

You can evolve it whenever you feel like using the Sun Stone on it.

Level does not come into it.

You need to find out if a Sunkern can learn anything after it evolve into a Sunflora in the gold,silver, and crystal versions.

Not all Pokemon can learn anything by leveling up after evolving, expeccially with the use of a stone, but some do.

u need a leaf stone, and i think u can only get those in kanto which if u keep sunkern in ur party it gives u a lot of time to train. hope i helped!!

Sunkern is a pure Grass type Pokemon. It will evolve into Sunflora if it is exposed to a Sun Stone at any level.

You need a sun stone but unfortunately theres only 1 and a Gloom needs it to evolve into a Bellosom. Unless you have a cheat theres no other way to get 2 sun stones. Hope I helped :D
