Seriously? Most of it is hilarious. For one, the nicknames. From Seeweed Brain, to Owl Head, the Stoll Brothers' pun on stealing, and in the third book, Pinecone Face. Moving on, Percy is so freaking clueless. He's usually like: "Wait. What?" Well, he has ADHD, so that's different, but it's funny. And the modern connections to ancient gods are just laughable, like Dionysus being a drunk, fat guy in a tiger-print shirt, and Zeus being this really cool head-honcho in a pinstriped suit, and in the third book, Artemis is a ten-year-old girl with yellow-moon colored eyes. Most of the time, I was usually saying, "DUDE! Don't you know your MYTHS?!" and cooing at the obvious Percabeth moments. But you know, sometimes, the books can have grave, deadly moments. And they are really serious. Overall, this book is freaking epic.
