All the Careers run away except for Peeta. Tracker Jacker stings cause severe pain and hallucinations, sometimes death (like Glimmer's). Peeta tells Katniss to run because Cato is coming to get Katniss, but Katniss suffers from hallucinations so it takes a while to understand what Peeta is telling her and to muster up the energy to run. Katniss runs away, Cato cuts Peeta's leg. Peeta goes to the lake and paints himself to camouflage and Katniss goes somewhere else (I forgot, I'm on the second book towards the end) Then, Seneca Crane announces that two tributes from the same District can win, so Katniss goes off to find Peeta.
