In Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein," when Victor Frankenstein arrives at the harbor and asks a stranger for directions, the stranger responds rudely because he is taken aback by Victor's disheveled appearance and distressed demeanor. The stranger likely perceives Victor as a threat or an outsider, leading to his brusque reaction. This moment underscores the isolation and desperation Victor feels as he struggles with the consequences of his own actions.
James' happy life at the English seaside is rudely ended when his parents are killed by a rhinoceros and he goes to live with his two horrid aunts. Daringly saving the life of a spider he comes into possession of magic boiled crocodile tongues, after which an enormous peach starts to grow in the garden. Venturing inside he meets not only the spider but a number of new friends including a ladybug and a centipede who help him with his plan to try and get to New York.

An autograph album leaf signed by BOTH Vivien Leigh and (Sir) Laurence Olivier can run upwards of $1,000. Unfortunately, Leigh's correspondence was so voluminous that she often turned to secretaries. There also are forgeries on the market. Potential buyers should exercise caution whenever considering the purchase of a Vivien Leigh autograph. There are several excellent (out of print) signature reference books -- one published by Steven Raab. Profiles In History, Los Angeles, published a voluminous signature reference catalogue in the early 1990s.Ron WeekesWEEKES AUTOGRAPHSJust to disagree with Ron for a moment, Vivien Leigh was indeed a prolific letter writer but she NEVER turned to secretaries. The biggest danger the would-be collector of her autograph faces is forgeries. Here it can get quite difficult for the collector because Leigh had around four signing styles over her life, with variations on each, and reference books that present only one of these can lead you to dismiss as forgeries authentic examples.Leigh was a very generous signer for her fans and would stand at the stage door after a performance until every last album had been signed. She would even be pleasant to fans when rudely pestered in restaurants. There's therefore a lot of material out there to be bought. Over here in the UK a simple signature on an album page can be bought for around £150 (though, of course, there are always dealers to be found who charge more).Curiously enough, the addition of Laurence Olivier to a page doesn't really add to its value! Jointly signed pages sign for about the same as a Leigh-only page!I have a large personal collection of Vivien Leigh signed material, spanning the whole of her career, with every imaginable authentic signature variation.I would be happy to pass an opinion without charge to anyone who sends a scan to me at: charles@clickautographs.com
To answer this question is a bit complicated. In 'Rush Hour 1' Jackie Chan was given top billing (which means he had the highest salary) and was the 'main actor'. In Rush Hour 2 some posters were made with Jackie Chan on top and some with Chris Tucker on top although I believe that Jackie was still paid more than Chris Tucker for Rush Hour 2. Rush Hour 3 however Chris Tucker negotiated his salary up and was paid more than Jackie Chan for the movie so for Rush Hour 3 the 'main' actor was Chris Tucker. The whole process of 'top billing' is not just related to salary and whose name goes on the top of the poster but also relates to how much screen time and dialogue the actor gets.
