Where do you find aerodactyl in Pokemon LeafGreen?

To obtain Aerodactyl, you need to have access to the moves Cut and Surf; the HMs for those moves are in the S.S. Anne in Vermilion City and the Safari Zone's Secret House in Fuchsia City, respectively, and you will need the Cascade Badge from Cerulean Gym and the Soul Badge from Fuchsia Gym, respectively, to use them outside of battle.

Once you have done all of the above, return to Pewter City, and use Cut to access the museum's other entrance, behind the reception desk. Talk to the scientist beside the pedestal near the back of the room, and he'll give you the Old Amber. After that, Surf south of Pallet Town until you reach Cinnabar Island, and then head for the Cinnabar Lab. In the room at the east end of the building, you'll find a scientist that can revive fossils. Talk to him and give him the Old Amber, then leave the room. When you return, he'll give you Aerodactyl.

You need to go to Pewter City Museum's back door. Once you have acquired the move CUT in the S.S. Anne (Vermilion City) you must go back to Pewter City via Digglets cave. The "insane" scientist will give you an old amber fossil. The use of this fossil is not going to be available until you arrive at Cinnabar Island. After the fossil scientist revives either the Helix Fossil or the Dome Fossil, you can return to him to revive the old amber which will give you an Aerodactyl at level 5.

You can't find aerodactyl to get it get the old amber from the scientist in the pewter city museum you need Cut to reach him. Show it to the scientist in the cinnibar lab the one that revives fossils and he will turn the old amber into aerodactyl.
